Weigh-In Wednesday

Good morning fellow shrinkers! How was your first week of the Shrinkvivor challenge? I am happy to report that it was a good week for me, despite being stressed out about getting a new dog (whom we have named Ellie.) I stayed within my calorie count 6 out of 7 days and got in my water and miles for Tribe Burgundy Babes! Hoping to see the scale inch further to the left as a result!

Total Water=496 oz
Total Miles=8.625 miles

Change This Week: down 1.0
Total for Shrinkvivor Challenge: down 1.0

I leave for Chicago tomorrow to visit a friend for the weekend, so I’m sure that it will be filled with lots of edible temptations, but I am going to try my best not to splurge on something unless it is totally worth it. Kinda nervous about flying, haven’t been in a plane since 2003. Seriously, that’s forever ago. Add that to the nerves about leaving Emma at home with the new dog, and I think I may need to have a cocktail or seven in order to get on the plane.

*Update on Aunt Debbie.  She went to Cleveland Clinic last week for her first Avastin treatment and she did great with it.  She has been walking a little more the last week, so that is great news.  She has her moments when she will slip away and pour water on the pillow and play in it like a child would do, but for the most part she is doing better then before the treatment. She goes back in another week for another treatment.  Tomorrow night is our local Light the Night walk and my family will be pushing Debbie in a wheelchair.  I am sad that I won't be there, but I will be in spirit.  If anyone of you plan on walking or running tomorrow evening, can you do it in honor of Debbie or for someone you know who is fighting cancer? The support of friends and family is such an important part of this journey. Thank you.

Weigh-In Wednesday (Shrinkvivor Style)

It’s weigh in day! Also known as It’s time for me to get my chunky butt in gear and start focusing on myself and losing weight again. The last month has not been a good one on the scale and I can really tell my clothes are getting tighter and I’m more sluggish then I have been in a while.
When I stepped on the scale last week, I was higher then I was at the start of this year. Wow that was a slap in the face….even though I was running more then I ever have, I weighed more and was visibly fluffier. I vowed to stop it right then and there and not let me continue slipping back to being the heaviest I have ever been.

This week I am down 2.5 lbs. High Five!

Granted I’m still almost 25 lbs lower then my heaviest, which I am proud of. BUT…I’m up almost 25 lbs from where I was at this time last year. WTF? I didn’t really think it was that bad, looking at it go up a lb then down half then up another two lbs and down one. But I looked back into my old WI posts and it was staring me right in the face. How did that happen? How did I let myself slide that far back to my old ways? ( oh yeah I stopped counting calories, ate whatever I wanted and would start tomorrow, didn’t make myself exercise consistently, etc.)   But I did and now I’m stopping it. I CAN DO THIS!

Today is the official start of the latest challenge over The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans…bring on SHRINKVIVOR!  I am a proud member of The Burgundy Babes Tribe…and we are all excited to start shrinking! So bring on SHRINKVIVOR…lets do this together shall we?

*My Aunt Debbie goes to Cleveland Clinic today for a Brain CT Scan and hopefully gets her first injection of Avastin today at 2:15 EST. Please keep her in your prayers and lift up her spirit as she continues her fight against brain cancer.

Weigh-In Wednesday

Good morning…time for the last weigh-in for the Down and Dirty Challenge over at Shrinking Jeans. I’d like to say I ended the challenge with a bang, however that would be a lie…and I’m not about lying. So here we go.
This week's change: +1.1 lbs
Challenge total: -0.4 lbs

Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans
I did exercise, but I also enjoyed some tasty beverages and not so calorie friendly food during Buckeye Retreat…which is just fine because I don’t do it all the time anymore. And I won’t continue it, if I do then I’ll be right back to where I started, 35 lbs heavier then I am now. And that would suck. Big time.

I have been doing good with my C25K training, which starting today I am just calling running. I got up to doing starting with an 8 minute interval last week but never could get up to 2 of them, I was soo winded. The girls suggested trying to cut back on the length of both intervals, and decreasing the walking instead of increasing it like the plan said. I started this on Saturday when we ran and it worked much better, I finished the whole 2 miles in under 30 minutes.

So starting with my next run, I’m going to work on 4:1 intervals and see how that goes and work my way up from there. Maybe once I get to feeling more comfortable, starting shooting for more mileage each time. That’s exciting!

Weigh-In Wednesday

Good Morning friends! How are you this beautiful late summer day? I am doing good, feeling sore from the tworkout and my run last night. If you missed it, that Tara is tough…I think several of us were probably making snarky faces at her when we read her next tweet. But its great because she’s been there….she was making those same snarky faces when she started. Well I actually don’t think I remember her being snarky at all on Biggest Loser, she was always so determined but you know what I mean.

So let’s see, how about an update with how my week went food and exercise wise. Well on the food front, I did splurge and have some pizza this weekend, but otherwise stayed on track for the most part. I have still been running, trying to keep up with the C25K plan…but its getting REALLY HARD! I’m still on week 5 and I’m finding out that I am having to do each day for a week at least until I am able to complete it. Last week I was doing W5D1 which was a mix of 5 min runs and 3 min walks for 2 miles. It took me a few times, but I eventually got up to running for 5 min intervals multiple times! Yippee!

On Saturday I started W5D2, which was 8 min runs and 5 min walks for 2 miles. Yeah…that’s right 8 minutes of running straight! I was scared…really scared. Did the first interval…I was like yippee that was hard yet I did it….and I’m glad to be walking now. Then when I started the second one, I was really struggling when I hit the 5 minute mark and it felt like someone was knifing my side so I walked the rest of the 1/3 mile home.

So last night I set out to try it again, it had gotten cooler so I didn’t have to wait as late to be comfortable. Started out and got my first 8 minutes in again. Then when I started my second interval, I barely made it to 3 minutes before I almost yacked. I had a horrible stabbing pains again in my right side, so quit and hobbled home. As I got closer I decided to run the last 2 minutes to finish off 1.5 miles. Not sure what my deal is. Think it’s the 8 minute interval that’s sucking all the life out of me and that it will get better? I hope so. I’m kinda stuck in the middle of ‘Why the eff can’t I keep going, my time is getting slower not faster’ and ‘Hey you just ran 8 minutes-you rock. Remember how hard it was when you ran for 3 minutes?’. Hope I can find a happy medium soon.

Anyway, here are my results from weigh-in this morning:
This week's change: -1.3 lbs
Challenge total: -1.5 lbs

Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans
Tada! Another loss…I’m thrilled, especially since I will probably not see a loss next week as there will be good eating and drinking going on this coming weekend with friends! Can’t wait! We do have a run planned for Saturday morning, that is if I can keep up with the 2 gazelles that are coming over! Otherwise it will be a nice relaxing weekend, the weather is supposed to be beautiful and I can’t wait to have some girl time! Woohoo for Buckeye Retreat!!!

Weigh-In Wednesday

Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans

It's time to check in with my Down and Dirty Challenge. Quick post today, grabbing some lunch before getting back to work. Plus I don't have much to gloat about this week...at all.
This week's change: +1.2 lbs
Challenge total: -0.2 lbs

Not really surprised as I splurged a little this weekend and had a hotdog and some beers and didn't exercise except Monday night.  But on the flip side I did get my fastest mile yet 15:21!  That's twenty seconds faster then the week before!  Woohoo.  I can definently tell that the cooler temps are going to be easier to run in, I'm still sweating like a mother but not panting nearly as much.  Tonight is another running night, gonna try to start a little earlier to get 2 miles in.  This getting darker earlier thing sucks...confirms summer is almost over.

Don't forget to check out my giveaway for a chance to win a Running Chics tank!  I'll be sporting mine this evening!

Weigh-In Wednesday

Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans

It's time to check in with my Down and Dirty sisters. Been a long week since last weigh-in, I had to work physical inventory this weekend which means I put in over 25 hours between Friday and Saturday and recovered on Sunday.  As you can guess the only exercise I got since last week was walking the plant floor and running back and forth for reports.  Results....well see for yourself.
This week's change: 0 lbs
Challenge total: -1.4 lbs
Can't say I'm really surprised because I didn't get much C25K in.  I did do a mile on Monday and the Tworkout with some sisters last night, but other then that no extra calories burned.  Oh well, back to the grind, if the rain holds out and I get out of here before dark, then the running will continue this evening. Next week I will see a loss.

On a side note, this is a check in so why not share some of the other stuff going on in my life right now.  Its weighing heavy on my heart, so I want to share.  We had a family meeting on Sunday night about helping to take shifts to sit with my Aunt Debbie, who is fighting brain cancer.  She has fallen quite a few times lately just walking to the kitchen or going to the bathroom, so we don't want her to be alone if she doesn't have to.  That's one of the great things about having a big family, is that we are there for each other when we need it...and even when we don't need it. My grandma has been going over each day to make her lunch and help her up and down the stairs, but she needs a break too, even if she won't admit it.  Plus her little 78 year old body can't support my aunt if she needs help or can't help to get up the stairs. So my cousin, who is an elementrary teacher made a calender for the next few weeks so we all can keep track of who is going to go be with her on day shift and evenings when her husband is working.  I have Thursday nights, so I will go over tomorrow and make dinner and enjoy her company for a few hours.

She is headed to Cleveland Clinic today for her monthly MRI and checkup with the cancer specialists.  I guess that it took her daughter and 2 of her sisters to get her up the stairs to bed last night, she is quickly losing her strength.  She fell yesterday morning when she went to the bathroom again.  She basically has no strength left to support herself, and even had to take a wheelchair into church on Sunday.  Hopefully today they can see if something has changed that is making her weaker by the day.  Or if...well I just don't want to think anything different.  She is a warrior but can use some backup fighters to help her this week, its been tough one.  So if you are of the praying type, when you say your prayers today, tonight or whenever you say them could you please say one for Aunt Debbie? She could use the support. Thank you.

Check-In Wednesday

It's time to get Down and Dirty with my sisters....time for the first weigh-in!
shrinking Beauties....formerly known as Team B....let's kick some boo-tay!
Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans

This week's change: -1.4 lbs
Challenge total: -1.4 lbs
Woohoo! Good to see a loss again after a few weeks of slowly creeping up. I started week 5 of C25K on Monday and if the rain holds off tonight, I will continue onto Day 2....which contains an 8 minute running interval!  Eeek!  I started tracking my foods again and have been holding around 1200-1500 calories depending if I run or not.  This Friday and Saturday will be my first obstacle of the challenge, we have physical inventory at work so I will be working 15 hr days with little breaks.  There are always lots of temptations around like candy and pizza, so I just have to be prepared and bring some good snacks to grab if I feel snacky.  I can do it, not worth splurging on work.

How was your week...were you accountable?

Weigh-In Wednesday

Good Morning friends...happy hump day!  Time to step on that scale and see how badly my splurges of the last week hurt me.  I mean come on, let's be serious...I know it's not gonna be a loss this week. I mean, did you see what all I ate last week?  Yeah, not expecting a loss.

Loss this week: +1.75 lbs
Total loss for challenge: -3.5 lbs
(23% of my goal of losing 15 lbs this summer)

Well, I have to admit that isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but still not happy to have to jot that I gained almost 2 lbs.  Especially during a time when I'm in a challenge where I could win some mega moolah to take to Chicago in September.  Back on track and fighting to have all that gone and then some by next week.  Lots of it is probably sodium anyway, right? (wink wink)

I did start C25K W4 on Thursday....and got thru the whole thing!  Sure I was a little winded at the end of the 5 minute segments, but it wasn't as bad as I thought.  I started to do day 2 on Monday, but when I went for my run last night, I ran into a skunk and deer so only got a mile done, so not counting it as day 2, rather it was day 1.5.  Pending the rain stops by this evening, I will finish Day 2 tonight!  It feels soo good to be running longer and longer intervals.  I'm still not close to running a mile straight, but I'm at about 1/4 mile so I'll get there.

*Thank you all for the prayers for my Grandma and her heart cath last Thursday.  She didn't have to have any stints put in this time and she doesn't need surgery!  Just needs to get some cardio in to get her oxygen levels up.  Otherwise she looks good.  So thankful!

Happy Birthday to Me

Good Morning friends. You read that right...today is my birthday. I turned 33 today...wow where have the last 3 years gone, seems like I just celebrated turning 30 yesterday!

Let's get the piddly stuff out of the way, the weigh in for this week.  Not so good this week, but I had a good loss last week so I'm not too worried about the ebb this week.

Loss this week: +0.5 lbs
Total loss for challenge: -5.25 lbs

It's gonna be a tough weekend, we are going to Pittsburgh and will be partaking in some not so healthy food, but its a birthday celebration so I'm not too worried about it.  I will be burning some calories walking around IKEA, so I'm pretty excited about that exercise.  Am taking a day off from C25K today but will pick up again tomorrow.

Keeping with a tradition that I started last year, I took my birthday picture to compare my progress over the last year.  Not as much change from 2008-2009, but do you notice any change?
I looked back to my journals and as of this morning, I am actually 12 lbs heavier then I was at my last birthday!  12 lbs!  Wow...I didn't think it was that much of a difference but the old blog posts don't lie.  Looking at my pictures, I feel like my legs are smaller but I've lost a little definition in my waist.

Last year I I was doing the 30 day Shred and this year I'm turning into a runner and am ready to start C25K Week 4. Last year I was still on birth control and this year I am in the midst of Operation Babybug.  Last year my heart was heavy without my mom, this year it is full because of the memories of her singing birthday phone calls. Last year I was just new to Shrinking Jeans and rarely knew any of the Sisters.  This year, they have become real friends and have been so supportive and uplifting as I continue my journey to being the best ladybug I can be!

My blog has become such an important part of my life, and I am blessed to have such good women in my life to help make it thru those frustrating days.  Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.  You have helped to make it a great year...and I know the next one will be even better!

{Oh and if anyone is interested, there are a few things left on my birthday list. (Picnik Premium, 50mm prime lens, new wardrobe of workout clothes, and some IKEA giftcards to use this weekend) mkay, thanks!}

Weigh-In Wednesday

Well I'm back on track this week, been sticking to my calories and working out consistently.  High Five!
And thankfully it is starting to be reflected on the scale.

This week -.5 lb
Total Challenge -4.0 lbs

As I had been saying for the last few months now, I finally started the Couch to 5K program again.  And it feels good.  I'm on week 2 and excited about my progress so far, can't wait to keep going this time!  Last fall when I was doing it, I got up to doing 3 minute intervals.  I'll get there again.  Right now I'm just happy with my 90 seconds of running.  I am trying to walk at least a mile on my off days to keep my muscles stretched out and get some activity in.

So this weekend is the 4th of July.  It's a little intimidating I have to be honest.  We will have a family cookout on Sunday, and in lieu of hamburgers and hotdogs, there will be shredded chicken and pulled pork.  Oh joy, that should be easy to resist...not so much.  I am going to bring a few low cal buns with me and try to stock up on fruit and veggies instead of the macaroni salad and other yummy treats that will be there.  And I'm limiting my alcohol intake, drinking a water in between.  At least that's my plan. Good to start with a plan, right?

Another thing that I have mixed feeling about...swimming.  I won an awesome swimsuit from Shrinking Jeans and Lands End and got it last week.  The Berry color is amazing! My aunt has a pool and I haven't been swimming in it since probably 2005.  I afraid I'll still feel uncomfortable, like I'm not ready to be seen yet since I'm still fluffy.  I know it's a personal issue and I'm probably the only one who will be judging me,  but I just hope I overcome that fear over the next few days and not worry about I look like.  Just enjoy the awesome swimsuit and feel beautiful in my own skin.  I'm gonna try. I'm gonna try.

How was your week?  Have you been tracking your calories and getting your activity on?  Stop by and share with the Sisters.

Weigh-In Wednesday

It was inevitable that the events of this last weekend where I was *less* then stellar at watching what I put into my mouth would bite me on the scale this week.
But actually it wasn’t as bad as I had thought it would be.

This week +.5 lb
Total Challenge -3.5 lbs

When I got home Monday night, after weighing in the morning for our Biggest Loser contest at work, I knew I had to get my walking in that night. So after dinner and watching some DVR, it had cooled down some and I was ready to go for my walk. I thought…should I try to run a little and try to get back into c25k? Was my body ready for that challenge or should I just keep walking the 2 miles like I had been doing? I sent a friend a msg and asked her what I should do…after a few responses back and forth, she said “you can do anything for 30 seconds”. I was like you know…you are right, I have to at least try to do it.

And you know what? I did it! I started with the normal 5 minute walk, then alternated between 60 seconds of running and 2 minutes of walking. I did 2 miles in under 35 minutes! Sure a few times I felt like I was going to pass out, but I kept pushing saying, I can do anything for 60 seconds. Just finish this interval and then you can walk. When the next one came, I did the same thing. A few times I may have walked for 2.5 minutes between, but I always ran for at least 60 seconds. This is my version of c25k w1d1.

When I was done, I was a sweaty mess.
Don't believe me...take a gander at the redness below.
But I felt so proud of myself! It’s only 60 seconds, but its so much more then that to me.

It’s a beginning to training for a race like all of my Sisters have done and are doing in the upcoming months.
It’s taking control of what I will push my body to do.
It’s empowering to know that I am not afraid of running. At least not today.
Sure my legs feel it today, especially in my lower right quad, but I am hoping that when I start my next session tonight that energy and determination will once again fill my soul and soles and push me.

Weigh-In Wednesday {on my new unintentional blog design}

Good Morning ladies...happy hump day. Yesterday was an interesting day, I couldn't get on my blog in the morning, kept getting a unavailable message from blogger.  So then when I did get on at lunch, it appears my background and header had been deleted and replaced with a picture of clouds.  Wha?  Somehow a new layout was applied and stuff was not as I left it.  Yeah not sure how that happened, but I ended up changing my password in fear I was hacked, and started trying to get back my green and aqua theme I had worked so hard to make a few months ago. Looks like there is an easier way to do a menu, so I'm going to be tweaking that this week so bare with me if the pages up top lead you to nothing. I'm working on it. ;o)

So onto the topic at hand.  Time to see how we really handled the week when we step on the scale.  We started a Biggest Loser contest at work last week and had our first weigh-in on Monday.  To keep things simpler I'm going to report that weigh-in so I can keep track of my progress on here.  Plus it lasts 8 weeks so it fits in nicely with the Shrinking Days of Summer Challenge over at the Sisterhood.

I lost 4 lbs this week.
4 lbs people...my hard work is finally starting to show...my scale is not broken!

I have been walking 2 miles a few times a week and have been tracking my food, humph....who knew that would help? Me...that's who.  Its crazy who easily it is to cave into temptation and just have a little extra at dinner or sneak a handful of M&M's.  This is all fine if you allot for those extra calories, which I was not doing previous.  You'd be amazed at how much all those things add up if you start actually tracking them.

So how are you....did the scale make your day this week?

Don't forget to stop over and sign up for a chance to win one of 8...yes I said 8 Lands End swimsuits that Shrinking Jeans is giving away this Friday.  They are awesome, love the fact you can mix tops and bottoms. Go enter here.

Weigh-In Wednesday

Well the scale hasn't budged. Not once ounce. But I am not giving up.
I will not give up.
I have been walking 2 miles a day a few times a week and it feels good when I walk back in the house knowing that I burnt a few hundred calories.  I have missed that feeling.  And I am regularly tracking my food and staying within my calorie limit, splurging a little but not in excess on Saturday at the graduation party.

I'm sticking with it, I know the scale will start shifting soon...so I just continue to strengthen my foundation. How did you do this week? Are the changes you are making starting to show?  Stop over and share with the Sisterhood!
*Love my necklace I won from Renee several months ago.  Its from Kristen's Shop! I'm pulling strength from it today!

Weigh-In Wednesday

Wow...back to reality...it's Wednesday! Time to rise up and stand tall beside all the Sisters and see how my weight loss journey is going.  I go back to work today after being off since Thursday.  Lots of time with friends and families and graduation activities and babies and food...oh my!  What would the scale tell me today?

I'm up 1 lb this week.

No doubt due to the combination of hot dog and baked beans I had for dinner yesterday. (or the excess of beers I drank on Sunday...take your pick)

I did get 2 miles in a few times last week and did lots of activity over the weekend, including joining Lissa and some other ladies in a situp/crunches challenge, oy my abs.  Back to doing that this evening.  Not beating myself up too much for the gain this time, it could have been way worse.  I'm just grateful that I had a few extra days off to recharge...sometimes just hanging out around the house and playing scrabble can make all the difference!

So tell me, how was your week?  Did you handle the holiday well?

Weigh-In Wednesday

It's Wednesday already? Wow what a quick week it has been.  Unlike last week when I almost wanted to vomit and thru my scale out the window, I felt good this morning as I stepped on the scale.  Sure my fingers were crossed and I peaked thru one squinted eye but I was more confident with how I handled my food choices this week.

I'm down 1.2 lbs this week.  That's 8% of my summer goal of losing 15 lbs!

High five!  A step in the right direction...finally.  I started walking on Monday and will do another 2 miles tonight, wanted to start C25K but once I started walking, I had to be realistic with myself.  I'm not ready to start running just yet, even if it's only for 30 seconds at a time.  I'd rather walk for a few weeks, get my stamina up and then start C25K.   I am not setting myself up for failure this time.

A new challenge is underway over at Shrinking Jeans...go check it out and join us if you need some extra motivation this summer!

Weigh-In Wednesday

We have reached the end of the 21 day challenge over at Shrinking Jeans.

Sisterhood 21-Days Challenge

Gulp...here we go....this isn't going to be pretty. I almost didn't write this, actually started and stopped a few times, feeling like a failure for what I am about to share.  But I guess that's why I am making myself do this.  I'm holding myself accountable.Cause and Effect baby...here is a perfect example.

I have gained 10 lbs since April 7th.  Oh, I need to say that a little louder?
I have gained 10 lbs since April 7th.

Seriously....did I really gain 10 lbs?  I knew I felt bigger and my clothes were getting tighter...but 10 lbs?  Yes, Little Ladybug....you are up10 lbs.  So much for being so close to that next decade...you have crossed into another one in the wrong direction!

There are a number of things I could say caused this gain over the past month.  Feeding the emotions of missing my Mom with sweets and an extra helping at dinner.  Bachlorette Parties and Weddings and get-togethers with friends.  Finding out that I am not pregnant like I so desperately was hoping I was. Feeling frustrated that I have slipped so far that I am higher then I was at the start of this year.  Blurgh.

Seeing this number on the scale made me realize, it all boils down to 3 things.
*I have not exercised at all.  Unless you count the one mile I walked for Run a Mile days. My HRM thinks  I have disappeared off the face of the earth.
*I am not counting calories/points in any way.  I'm guessing I have been regularly am eating over 2500 calories (like 50 WW pts) a day, sometimes probably double that.
*I am not focusing on myself.  I need to take some time out of everyday to journal, blog or reflect on how my day went and what I plan on doing to make tomorrow a good day.

So I am starting a personal challenge, along with a dear friend of mine.  I am planning on going to Chicago to visit her in Mid-August.  I would love to lose 15 lbs by then. I have finally convinced myself that I deserve to take a vacation just for me, and I want to feel good while I am there.  So during the next few weeks, you will probably all get tired of seeing more weightloss related posts, but bear with me I NEED to do this to get back on my journey. Thank you all for your support, I have no excuses.

Sisterhood 21-Days Challenge

Time for a WI over at Shrinking Jeans and boy was this one going to hurt! I had a bachlorette party, actually day long event, this weekend (really late cell phone mosiac to follow this afternoon) and you all know how girltime can get.

So I'm bummed to say that I am up 2 lbs this week.  Thanks Margaritas and Melting Pot...oh the Melting Pot.  Good thing it's pricey or I would go there often.  Not surprised at the gain and surprisingly, I don't feel bad about it.  It was a great time this weekend, and not something I do all the time.

Here are the things I was going to focus on for 21 days and how this week went.
1) Taking my vitamins everyday. Missed the weekend but otherwise doing well.
2) Drinking at least 2 liters of water everyday. Again missed the weekend but filling up all other days.
3) NO sneaking food.  Only did this once, and it was with a WW fudge bar.  I did eat alot this weekend, but did not sneak any of it.

How did you do this week...have good news to share or anything you need to get off your chest? Stop over and share with the sisterhood.

Weigh-In Wednesday

Sisterhood Spring Fling Challenge
Time to weigh in for the Spring Fling Challenge.  It has been a rough week for me, I was on track up until Monday, then....I hit a wall. I mentally and emotionally hit a tall brick wall.  My spirit is muted, my energy is zapped, I miss my Mom and I am stressed about some personal stuff.

A lot of stuff processing thru my brain and heart, and I guess I just haven't been able to process it the right way.  As a result I have turned to food for comfort, something I thought I had a better handle on.  Apparently not.

Here are my numbers from this morning:
Last Week: 151.4 lbs
This Week: 154.4 lbs
Current Loss: 3 lb gain
Challenge Total: -1.2 lbs

SUCK!

Some shimmers of light in my murky waters:
*My cousin welcomed her baby girl Sunday morning.  Aubrey Madisyn was 5 lbs 14 oz on her due date! She should be going home today.  So sweet!
*I signed up for WW e-tools, and of course there's an app for that...so I can use that on my phone to better track my food and exercise.  I like it so far!

I haven't been around much because I didn't want to spread my funk to anyone else.  I'll be back around...I just hope its sooner rather then later and that I have answers or at least better direction when I do!

Weigh-In Wednesday

Sisterhood Spring Fling Challenge
It's Wednesday...time to weigh in for the Spring Fling Challenge. If you read my earlier post about the CUPCAKE experience, I wasn't looking forward to stepping on the scale.  I did see a loss when I WI at WW last night, so that kinda gave me some hope.

Here are my numbers from this morning:
Last Week: 151.8 lbs
This Week: 151.4 lbs
Current Loss: .4 loss
Challenge Total: -4.2 lbs

I am thrilled to have had a loss after eating soo many sweets this weekend.  I didn't have even one Reese Egg, but as you can see filled it with other kinds of sugar.  I am hoping that the loss sticks and doesn't creep back to me next week.  I am chugging water so I really think that has helped flush out a lot of the extra bloat.

It's been an uber busy week, haven't had any time to check in on blogs since Saturday, so if I haven't posted I will be by, just might be this weekend before I get caught up.  Hope everyone has a great day, stop over and share your scale story at Shrinking Jeans.

Weigh-In Wednesday

Sisterhood Spring Fling Challenge
It's Wednesday...time to weigh in for the Spring Fling Challenge. It wasn't a good week on the exercise side, tweaked my ankle on Thrusday and tried to work thru it on Friday with no success.  I kept getting shooting pains even walking on Saturday.  So I have fallen off the Shredding wagon and am not going to be finishing the 30 day challenge with all the wonderful women who are doing a great job.  But I did stay on track with my food and points, even tried a Boca burger this weekend....and really enjoyed it!  So let' see how the scale responds this week.

Here are my numbers
Last Week: 152.2 lbs
This Week: 151.8 lbs
Current Loss: .4 loss
Challenge Total: -3.8 lbs

Go Team SynErgy!
This weekend will prove to be a challenge with Easter and the evil man known as Reese with this peanut butter and white chocolate combination....oh the evil!  But I plan to load up on veggies and turkey and hope that I can contol myself around the pies.I would love to report a loss next week or at the worst maintain.

Have a great Easter everyone!  How did you do this week…go share your weigh-in with the Sisterhood!
